Jul 13, 2010 I use Teamviewer for remote desktop and am pretty much happy with it, except for one thing. While connecting from my workplace (windows environment) to my home (mac environment), Teamviewer connects and even allows file transfer, but displays only black screen (cant see mac desktop). The solution I have tried so far: Changing screen resolution; Disabling black screen on my TeamViewer Settings; Installing a lower version (11) on my PC but it asks me to upgrade since. Oct 28, 2016  I use Teamviewer v 12.0.78313 with Windows XP (sp3). Upon remoting with most XP computers I can black screen without any problem, however there is just one laptop with XP that does not go black. I have disabled its screen saver and all appears normal but it just doesn’t work. Jul 04, 2019  I found an original driver for the Dell installed it and still just see a black screen on my end. There most likely is an issue with remote desktop in the 1903 OS. I guess we will have to just wait for Microsoft to fix it.
